Morbid Angel - Illud Divinum Insanus: The Remixes (Boxed Set, Limited Edition, Colored Vinyl, Blue)

When Illud Divinum Insanus first dropped in 2011, it was one of the most daring and divisive moments in Morbid Angel's career. Shattering expectations, the band infused their extreme metal foundation with bold industrial and electronic elements-earning both fierce criticism and cult admiration. Now, Illud Divinum Insanus: The Remixes takes that boundary-breaking spirit even further, inviting some of the most inventive names in industrial, EBM, darkwave, and electronic music to reimagine Morbid Angel's audacious vision.

Spanning 31 remixes across four heavyweight Electro Blue vinyl LPs, this deluxe, remastered edition pushes sonic experimentation to the limit. Legendary artists like Laibach, cEvin Key (Skinny Puppy), Tim Skold (KMFDM, Marilyn Manson), Project Pitchfork, Treponem Pal, Chris Pohl (BlutEngel), and Black Strobe bring new textures and pulse-pounding intensity to tracks like "I Am Morbid," "Radikult," "Too Extreme!" and "Destructos vs the Earth." The result is nearly three hours of relentless, genre-defying soundscapes that bridge the worlds of death metal and industrial darkness. Housed in a stunning 12" quad-fold book-styled jacket inside a rigidboard slipcase, and limited to just 400 copies worldwide, this officially licensed reissue from Season of Mist is remastered by Rob Colwell (Witchery, Fleshcrawl, Believer, Voivod) for maximum impact. A landmark remix album that's equally thrilling for fans of Frontline Assembly, Die Krupps, Nine Inch Nails, Skrew, and Ministry, this release captures Morbid Angel at their most fearless-and offers an electrifying new experience for listeners willing to embrace the unexpected.
